OUR PARTENERS IN NEPAL 

• The organisation for Indigent Tots

TOIT is a local charity that was first implemented in the Nepalese city of Bhaktapur, by a man named Indra Prasad. Previously a sponsored child himself, Indra was eager to take part in a similar scheme in order to offer opportunities to children in need. 

In 2000, he found the first sponsor for a poor child. 7 years later, he helps more than a hundred of them :  untouchables, orphans, the children of IDP’s....
This success motivated Indra to open his own school, a school without any discrimination. 

Over the past five years Sathi Om has worked with  Indra and TOIT, sponsoring children and fund-raising to build the school.

• The Nodan Club

It all started with a group of young people who had the zest and ideas to make a difference but didn’t have a platform and the means to materialize them. After many rounds of coffee sessions in a local coffee shop, some like-minded college graduates came together to form a club and named it Nodan”. 
 
Nodan stands for motivation and motivating and inspiring today’s youth is what this club has been doing. "Today's youths are future stars, heroes for tomorrow and partners of today," is the belief on which the club stands.
Nodan Club is implementing a wide range of activities by the youth and for the youth:

• Trainings, Workshops in Schools and Colleges
• HIV/AIDS and STI awareness program
• Outdoor leadership experience program
• Team building Exercise
• Life Skill Schooling
• Youth Exchange /Cultural Exchange program
• Joint programs with other youth organizations
• Fund Raising Charities
• Cleaning Camp
• Blood Donation
• Youth Talk program
• Screening Documentary
• Orphanage & old age home visit and support

Nodan Club is also aiming at a more efficient coordination between the different organizations of motivated young people. As such, it is a Founder member of Association of youth organization Nepal
