Back in 2001, the 4 founder members were school friends, bonded by their traveling experiences and a shared determination to work against the inequalities they found between wealthy western countries and the rest of the world.
Aware that individual actions can make the difference in this situation, they decided to use their personal experience to help vulnerable people in Nepal. 

And so in 2002 Sathi Om was born, with the inception of their first charity project. Behind this project, was the idea to create a  dialogue between Nepal and France and, more widely, a cultural exchange, benefiting all. Indeed, each mission was undertaken to understand more fully the way of life of the beneficiaries, in order to take this into account at every step of project work.
